About Me
Creating has become my way of connecting—to life, to others, and to myself. Working with wood and paint allows me to give form to my emotions, transforming intangible feelings into something real. I’m drawn to taking something familiar and making it exciting through stylistic abstraction, creating pieces rooted in reality but open to imagination. My goal is to share moments of inspiration and excitement through my work.
For much of my life, I felt trapped, unable to find peace as depression consumed me. By 26, I had almost given up hope. Then, someone suggested I try working with wood. At first, it felt like another futile idea—but it changed everything. Slowly, I began to rediscover joy and purpose. Carving, shaping, and painting brought back a sense of meaning and belonging I had not felt in years, allowing me to turn my pain into something tangible and beautiful.
Now, wood feels like more than a material; it is a partner in my creative process. I love combining its natural beauty with vibrant painted surfaces, creating a dialogue between the organic and the imagined. Each piece reflects my past struggles and my hope for the future.
Creating is where I feel most alive. It is where I express what words cannot, a place where imagination thrives and anything feels possible. Through my art, I hope to inspire others to see the world differently and discover their own spark of meaning, just as I did.
